1. Services Offered

• Recording sessions (vocals, instruments, re-amping, etc.).
• Mixing of pre-recorded tracks.
• Mastering of final mixes for distribution.
• Songwriting and composition (including lyrics, riffs, arrangements).
• Consultation on production and creative direction.

Additional services or requests outside the above may be subject to additional fees and scheduling availability.

2. Booking & Payment

• A non-refundable deposit of X% is required to secure your booking. Work will not begin until the deposit is received.
• Full payment is required before delivery of final high-quality files.
• Payment can be made via [insert accepted payment methods].
• All prices are quoted in [your currency] unless otherwise agreed.

3. Turnaround Time

• Standard turnaround is [insert timeframe, e.g., 7–10 business days].
• Rush delivery is available upon request and may incur additional charges.
• Delays caused by incomplete files, poor communication, or revisions will affect the turnaround.

4. Client Responsibilities

• You must provide high-quality audio files in standard formats (e.g., WAV, AIFF, stems clearly labeled).
• For songwriting services, reference tracks or lyrical themes must be discussed up front.
• You are responsible for securing the rights to all samples and recordings you provide.

5. Revisions

• Major changes that deviate from the original scope may be treated as new work.

6. Creative Control & Producer Credit

• I reserve the right to decline work that doesn't align with my standards.
• I may showcase finished work in my portfolio unless agreed otherwise.
• You agree to credit me as producer/mixer/mastering engineer.

7. Ownership & Copyright

• You retain ownership of your recordings for mixing/mastering services.
• For songwriting:
  • If work-for-hire, rights may be transferred after full payment.
  • If not work-for-hire, I retain publishing rights and royalty discussions must occur.
• Sync/licensing usage must be discussed separately.

8. Refunds & Cancellations

• Deposits are non-refundable.
• If cancelled after work begins, partial refunds may be issued based on progress.
• If I must cancel, a full refund will be provided for undelivered work.

9. Limitation of Liability

• I am not liable for misuse of the audio files.
• You are responsible for the legal use and distribution of the final product.

10. Governing Law

This agreement is governed by the laws of South Africa. Disputes will be resolved in Pretoria.
